Job summary

Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) is seeking a Part-Time Disability Services Testing Specialist to support the Lancaster campus and college-wide operations. The role provides reader and scribe services and ensures accessible testing conditions while upholding strict confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree in education, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in education, psychology, or closely related field or equivalent experience.
• Must comply with PA Child Protective Service Laws.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive and productive relationships with students needing accommodations.
• Provide reader and scribe services and assist with adaptive testing equipment.
• Inform supervisor of special circumstances requiring additional accommodations.
• Secure tests from faculty and communicate special requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with data for surveys/reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
