Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes documentation (psycho-educational tests, medical reports, 504 plans, IEPs) for reasonable accommodations.
• Meets with students to discuss accommodations and reevaluate needs.
• Maintains confidential records of accommodations and related documents.
• Advises faculty and staff on ADA, Section 504/508 and disability rights.
• Provides guidance on adaptive and assistive technology needs.
• Serves as first contact for students and families seeking guidance.
• Keeps current knowledge of disability law and best practices.
• Collaborates with various campus offices to deliver accessibility services and training.
