CME Associates is seeking a Structures Project Manager to lead transportation-related structural projects, oversee design teams, and ensure quality and compliance. The role emphasizes client liaison, technical leadership, and risk management across diverse projects.

Ideal candidates bring PE/SE licensure, 15+ years of structural engineering and PM experience, and proficiency with industry software. A hybrid schedule and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required.
• 15+ years of experience in structural engineering and project management.
• Proven track record of managing structural projects.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
• Experience in multiple states is a plus.
• Ability to guide junior staff and lead design/drafting of all project aspects.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects primarily in the transportation market.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control to ensure successful project completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and materials selection.
• Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, review and approve project documentation, reports, and specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving technical challenges.
• Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on transportation structures related issues.
• Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.
