Job summary

CME Associates seeks a Structures Project Manager to lead transportation structural projects. You will plan, design, and execute with a focus on schedule, scope, budget, and quality control. You will mentor a team and serve as the main contact for clients and stakeholders.

The role requires a PE or SE license and 15+ years of structural engineering and project management experience, with strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Hybrid work is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• PE or SE license required.
• 15+ years of structural engineering and project management experience.
• Proven track record of managing structural projects.
• Experience with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors.
• Experience in multiple states is a plus.
• Project or client management experience required.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to design and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of structural projects, including transportation work.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality control for projects.
• Serve as primary client/consultant/stakeholder contact.
• Provide structural analysis, design, and materials guidance.
• Oversee engineers, designers, and drafters; mentor team.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and approve project documents and specs.
• Identify risks and resolve technical challenges.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
• Provide transportation-structure technical support to clients.
