Job summary

TYPSA, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking Structures Project Engineers to join our multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on budgeting, design calculations, and client deliverables, with field assessment and inspection as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills and team orientation. Required: BSCE in Civil Engineering, 5+ years design experience, P.E. registration or ability to obtain within 6 months; DOT experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• P.E. registration in the applicable jurisdiction or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• DOT experience and strong technical writing/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, discipline tasks, and track projects; ensure client deliverables.
• Prepare and check design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and project plans.
• Field assessment and inspection of structures and facilities; contribute to team success.
