LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions, LLC seeks a qualified Structural Mechanic for a position in Bridgeport, WV. The role focuses on inspecting and repairing aircraft structures, including sheet metal work, composites, and mechanical/electrical installations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aircraft structures, preferably with MRO or back shop experience and knowledge of engineering drawings. Military or CRJ airframe experience is a plus; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft structures experience in back shop or MRO environments.
• Experience with military aircraft maintenance, depot or phase inspections is a plus.
• CRJ airframe experience is a major plus.
• Completed sheetmetal tech schooling or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures for damage or wear and document findings.
• Perform sheet metal repairs and modifications on structural components.
• Fabricate/modify structural aircraft parts and fixtures.
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components.
• Execute mechanical/electrical removals and installations as required.
• Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Perform complex structural repairs on/off aircraft.

Structural Mechanic

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking Structural Mechanics with 5 yrs of aircraft structures experience either in a back shop environment, MRO environment, or a combination of bothfor an opportunity inBridgeport, WV.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The CR&O Structures Technician performs thorough inspections of aircraft structures, identifying and documenting any signs of damage or wear while complying with environmental health, safety policies, and procedures.

• Perform thorough inspection ofaircraftstructures,identifyingand documenting any signs of damage or wear.

• Comply withenvironmental health, safety policies, and procedures.

• Execute sheet metal repairs and modifications on various structural components

• Fabricate and/ormodifystructuralaircraftparts.

• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.

• Perform mechanical, electricalremovalsand installations asrequired.

• Interpret and followaircraftmaintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Perform complex structural repairs on/offaircraft.

• Utilize precision measuring tools and equipment to ensureaccuraterepairs and compliance with aviation regulations.

• Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to aviation structural maintenance.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum of5years ofaircraft structures experience either in a back shop environment, MRO environment, or a combination of both
  • MRO/heavy maintenance experience required
  • Military aircraft maintenance experience is also a plus (depot, phase inspection, isochronal)
  • CRJ airframe experience is a major plus

• Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent schooling is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent isrequired.

• Knowledge ofaircraftstructures and materials.

• Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.

• Possess (basic) set of tools.

• Ability to effectively communicateaircraftmaintenance actions both verbally and in writing.

• Comfortable working with technology / enteringaircraftmaintenance actions into a computer-based system.
