Camas School District is seeking an instructional paraprofessional to support literacy and reading interventions. You will work with Lexia, collect data, and assist in Tier I/II instruction across multiple school sites.

The role requires an AA degree (BA/BS preferred), experience with reading instruction, and proficient MS Office/Google Suite skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. The position is full-time, on-site with some training opportunities.

Formación

• Requires AA degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
• Training in evidence-based structured literacy (e.g., LETRS, Orton Gillingham, IMSE).
• Experience with instructional paraprofessionals per WAC guidelines; substitute education for BA/BS where allowed.

Responsabilidades

• Implement instructional support for word recognition.
• Prepare and utilize educational materials for use with students.
• Support student use of Lexia.
• Collect and update student records from faculty, students, and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and TOSAs to support Tier I/II instruction.
• Assist with DIBELS screening and progress monitoring.
• Administer diagnostics when needed.
• Track, collect, and enter student data for end-of-year reporting.
• Maintain Lexia files and participate in PD.
