Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an instructional paraprofessional to support students with literacy interventions in the Camas School District. You will work in collaboration with LAP/Title certified staff, assisting small groups and individuals to meet grade-level objectives using Lexia and related tools.

The role requires AA degree or equivalent, plus training in structured literacy. Prior paraprofessional experience and strong data-tracking skills are preferred; valid driver’s license is beneficial.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent credits required; BA/BS preferred.
• Training in evidence-based structured literacy (e.g., LETRS).
• Paraprofessional Praxis is preferred/required by state guidelines.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional support for word recognition and literacy programs.
• Maintain accurate student records and data.
• Prepare educational materials for use with students.
• Support Lexia usage in collaboration with district staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support Tier I/II instruction.
• Use communication tools to share information with staff and families.
• Assist with DIBELS screening and progress monitoring.
• Administer diagnostics when needed.
• Track and enter student data for year-end reporting.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and paid training.
