Qualifications

• 48 college credit hours OR passing scores on an approved Paraprofessional assessment required.
• Experience working with children required.
• Ability to work in an instructional support role with students across elementary to high school ages.
• Excellent human relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher in planning instructional activities and maintaining a safe, orderly environment.
• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce instruction after teaching.
• Assists the teacher in preparing for lessons.
• Performs related duties as assigned by the principal.
• Required to provide substitute coverage as needed.
