The People Of: Professional Services seeks a Banking & Finance Associate Attorney to join its finance practice in a role focused on structured credit, private credit, and special situations financing. The position involves advising credit funds, lenders, borrowers, and sponsors on sophisticated transactions with an emphasis on liquidity solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of law firm experience in structured finance or private credit, a JD from an accredited school, and U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of law firm experience with focus on structured finance, secured lending, or private credit.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to a U.S. State Bar.
• Experience advising lenders, funds, borrowers, or sponsors on complex financing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Structured Credit & Receivables Financing: advise on complex receivables-backed financing and asset-based structures.
• Private Credit Transactions: represent private credit funds, lenders, and borrowers in bespoke financing arrangements.
• Special Situations & Distressed Financing: structure solutions for distressed businesses and liquidity needs.
• Liability Management Transactions: advise on transactions involving distressed or highly leveraged companies.
• Secured Lending: negotiate and document secured credit facilities and collateral arrangements.
• Syndicated & Growth Capital Financing: support lending transactions with institutional lenders and sponsors.
• Transaction Execution: draft, negotiate, and manage complex financing documents with clients and legal teams.
