Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a talented associate to join its Chicago-based Global Finance Group.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of meaningful experience in asset-backed securitizations and structured-finance transactions. The ideal candidate will have worked with one or more asset classes or structures, including asset-backed finance, CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, single-family rental securitizations, data-center financings, esoteric assets, and consumer receivables or consumer-asset transactions.
The successful associate will have experience drafting and negotiating offering documents and core transaction documentation for underwriters, sponsors, issuers, investors, and lenders. The practice includes both public and private offerings of asset-backed securities, as well as private structured-finance transactions.
Candidates should be comfortable working on sophisticated, fast-paced transactions and should have strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills. The role is well suited for an associate who wants to deepen an already established structured-finance practice while working with a premier team on complex and high-profile matters.
Applicants must be admitted to the Illinois Bar or eligible for admission in Illinois.
Compensation will be competitive and determined based on relevant market factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, education, and geographic considerations.
