Job summary

Considine Search is seeking a talented associate for its Chicago-based Global Finance Group. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of meaningful experience in asset-backed securitizations and structured-finance transactions, with exposure to CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, and related structures.

The successful attorney will draft and negotiate core documents for underwriters, sponsors, issuers, investors, and lenders.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of meaningful experience in asset-backed securitizations and structured-finance transactions.
• Experience with asset classes such as CMBS, RMBS, CLOs, and consumer receivables is preferred.
• Experience drafting and negotiating offering documents and core transaction documents.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate offering documents for underwriters, sponsors, issuers, investors, and lenders.
• Prepare core transaction documents for asset-backed securities offerings (public and private).
• Support sophisticated, fast-paced financing transactions and collaborate with premier practitioners.
