Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is representing a prominent AmLaw 50 law firm seeking a Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) Associate Attorney in its Global Finance group. The role focuses on CMBS transactions, CRE CLOs, and complex securitization documents in a top-tier environment.

The candidate should have 3–6 years in securitization, strong drafting skills, and a track record in large firm settings. Locations include Boston, NY, and other major markets, with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3–6 years of substantive experience in securitization and structured finance, CMBS.
• Drafting and negotiating complex securitization documents.
• Familiarity with CRE repurchase facilities and warehouse lending.
• Ability to lead deals and manage due diligence through closing.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide counsel on CMBS transactions, including CRE CLOs.
• Lead preparation and negotiation of documents such as bid letters and operating agreements.
• Participate in deal structuring, due diligence, execution and post-closing matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Collaborate with Global Finance team to deliver premier client service.
