Job summary

Atlanticus is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join its Structured Finance team in Atlanta. The role focuses on investor reporting, portfolio analysis, and compliance with structured finance transactions, offering exposure to capital markets and cross‑functional collaboration with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related field.
Strong MS Excel skills with advanced formulas and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly investor reports for asset-backed securitization transactions.
Interpret securitization agreements and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Gather, validate, and reconcile financial data from multiple systems.
Identify and resolve reporting issues related to data sources and records.
Perform monthly close activities for investor portfolios.
Monitor and reconcile investor bank accounts and transaction activity.
Analyze portfolio performance, identify trends, and investigate variances.
Develop ad-hoc analyses and reporting for management, investors, and strategic initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and automate tasks.
