Job summary

Ally is seeking an Analyst to join the Lender Finance team, located in NYC or Bethesda, MD. You will support portfolio management, credit underwriting, and deal execution across private credit facilities for asset managers. You will work with senior staff to assess risk and structure transactions.

The role offers exposure to private credit markets, leveraged lending, and Ally's lender finance standards, with opportunities to develop expertise through live deal work and portfolio oversight.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing portfolio management, credit monitoring, and risk oversight of facilities.
• Review borrowing bases, collateral reporting, certificates, financial statements, amendments.
• Analyze loan portfolios for collateral, borrower performance, leverage and other metrics.
• Prepare periodic portfolio reviews and risk assessments for internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate new lender finance opportunities from screening to closing and onboarding.
• Review asset managers' strategies, servicing capabilities, and track records.
• Conduct transaction due diligence with financial statements, investment memoranda and third‑party reports.
• Prepare investment approval materials explaining strategy, collateral and risks.
