Ally Financial is seeking a role based in our Bethesda, MD office focused on transaction diligence, financial analysis, and building three-statement models. You’ll work with Ally Corporate Finance to prepare materials for investment committee reviews and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

The role involves analyzing historical and projected financial information, reviewing outputs, and collaborating with deal teams across functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of banking or lending experience; auditing, underwriting, and financial/credit analysis preferred.
• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Completion of a bank or financial institution training program is preferred.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Highly analytical, detail oriented with problem solving capability.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management.
• High level of accountability and prioritization.
• Technicals: Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with financial models desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in transaction due diligence, review business information and diligence requests.
• Perform financial analysis of historical and projected information.
• Prepare Excel-based, three-statement financial models.
• Assist in compiling materials for investment committee presentations.
• Review work product and provide feedback to improve outputs and efficiencies.
• Assist in reviewing reporting requirements for portfolio investments and update internal reporting packages.
• Assist in ensuring investment regulatory compliance.
• Support special projects to gain broader business understanding.
• Build foundation of credit knowledge aligned with Ally's risk culture.
