Job summary

SuperHero Fire Protection LLC is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician to install, test, label, and document copper and fiber cabling systems across commercial environments. You will ensure work meets code, safety standards, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities include installing and routing low-voltage cabling, terminating copper and fiber, testing with OTDR and other gear, documenting results, and mentoring junior technicians while coordinating with customers and trades on

Qualifications

• 3+ years in structured cabling in commercial environments.
• Experience terminating and testing Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A and fiber.
• Ability to read prints, floorplans, riser diagrams, and schedules.
• Familiarity with test equipment and labelling/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure low-voltage cabling per design drawings and standards.
• Terminate copper and fiber, and test for certification; troubleshoot faults.
• Label cables and maintain as-builts and test results.
• Rack and stack network equipment; coordinate site access and outages.
• Mentor junior technicians and support project managers with updates.
