Job summary

RevCats is seeking a Structured Cabling Superintendent for full-time field leadership on hyperscale data-center projects. Initial assignment is New Albany, Ohio, with 75-100% project travel; travel expenses and per diem provided.

Responsibilities include overseeing low-voltage project execution, supervising site teams, staffing, training, and maintaining customer relationships. Strong preference for hyperscale data-center experience and related certifications; no bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years directly managing low-voltage/structured-cabling technicians.
• Ability to train technicians in tools, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple field projects and customer-facing duties.
• Interpret scopes of work, BOMs, blueprints and schedules.
• Accurate staffing, scheduling, timesheets and change orders.
• Strong English communication; valid driver's license; travel ready.
• Hyperscale data-center experience preferred; RCDD/DCDC/BICSI preferred (not required).

Job description

RevCats is hiring a Structured Cabling Superintendent for full-time, nonexempt field leadership on hyperscale data-center projects. Initial assignment: New Albany, Ohio. Candidates may live elsewhere in the US and must be available for 75-100% project travel; travel expenses and per diem are provided.

Pay: up to $46/hour W2, plus overtime at time-and-a-half and bonus pooling. Three openings are covered by the current intake.

Responsibilities

Independently oversee low-voltage project execution, technical quality, safety, cost, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Supervise multiple projects/site teams, maintain quality assurance and meet customer contractual requirements.

Plan staffing, hiring support, schedules, timesheets and change orders; develop technicians and leads.

Conduct hands-on technical training in low-voltage tools, equipment and job functions.

Coordinate materials and daily project-tracking records.

Maintain customer relationships, resolve escalated issues and participate in project/pre-bid/post-bid meetings.

Maintain project-completion checklists and HR, safety and project documentation.

Requirements

At least five years directly managing low-voltage/structured-cabling technicians.

Mastery of hands-on low-voltage tools, equipment and technician job functions, with the ability to conduct technical training classes.

Ability to independently manage field operations, concurrent projects/site teams and customer-facing responsibilities.

Ability to interpret scopes of work, bills of materials, blueprints and schedules.

Accurate staffing, scheduling, timesheet and change-order management.

Strong written and spoken communication and professional working proficiency in English.

Maintain required certifications and test-equipment training; valid driver's license.

Availability for required project travel and onsite supervision.

Hyperscale data-center field experience is strongly preferred and central to the project environment. Meta/Microsoft experience is preferred. Experience during construction and post-construction is helpful. RCDD and DCDC BICSI certifications are preferred, not required. No bachelor's degree is required.
