Job summary

Network Cabling Services in Houston is seeking a dependable Structured Cabling Technician to support installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling systems. This role works closely with project managers and field teams to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to company and industry standards.

Install Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling, read blueprints, perform testing with Fluke equipment, and maintain clean, organized job sites while

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
1–3+ years of structured cabling or low-voltage installation experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Current, valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Install, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling.
Perform cable routing, pulling, and dressing in commercial environments.
Install cable pathways including J-hooks, cable tray, conduit, and ladder rack.
Install and terminate patch panels, racks, cabinets, and faceplates.
Conduct cable testing and certification using Fluke or similar testing equipment.
