Job summary

HireCall is seeking a Structural Welder in Port of Catoosa, Tulsa who can pass 2G/3G MIG/Fluxcore weld tests and perform a variety of welding tasks. You will read and interpret drawings, follow safety protocols, and work at heights on ladders and scaffolds.

Overtime hours are expected and physical stamina is important. Qualified candidates will have 1–5 years welding experience, MIG/Flux Core proficiency, basic math skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years welding experience required.
• Must be able to pass 2G/3G MIG/Fluxcore weld test.
• Basic math skills and understanding of volts and amps.
• Must bring welding hood and safety gear to interview.

Responsibilities

• Weld using MIG and Flux Core techniques.
• Adjust volts and amps with basic math.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work at ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold temps.
• Maintain productivity with overtime as needed.

Position: Structural Welder – Pay: 25-27/hr – Location: Port of Catoosa, Tulsa.

Job Summary

A company is looking for structural welders with 1-5 years of experience to pass a 2G & 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test. Responsibilities include welding tasks, safety compliance, reading, writing, and communication. Workers will work at ladders, scaffolding, etc., possibly overtime, and may handle up to 50 lbs, hot/cold temperatures, and extended periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Pass 2G & 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test.
• Use MIG and Flux core welding techniques; arc gouging is a plus.
• Adjust volts & amps with basic math skills.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms.
• Perform lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Work in hot and cold temperatures, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing.
• Stand or walk for extended periods, minimum 8 hours per day.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of welding experience.
• Minimum one year of MIG and Flux core experience.
• Ability to pass 2G & 3G MIG/FLUXCORE weld test.
• Basic math skills and understanding of volts & amps.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
• Must have welding hood, leather welding gloves, safety glasses for weld test.
• Must bring two forms of unexpired government‑issued identification documents to interview.
• Willingness to work frequent overtime.

Willing to work frequently overtime, read, write, and communicate effectively, work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, aerial work platforms, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs, perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures, frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, occasional climbing onto equipment, standing/walking up to 8 hours per day; essential job functions are safety sensitive.
