Job summary

STREAMTECH INC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Tank Cleaning Welder to join our industrial maintenance team in Pasadena, TX. You will inspect, clean, and repair storage tanks, vessels, and pipelines using SMAW, FCAW, MIG, TIG, and Stick welding while adhering to strict safety and cleaning protocols.

This role requires reading blueprints, performing atmospheric testing with gas detectors, and executing confined space entry under LOTO and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in welding SMAW, FCAW, MIG, TIG, and Stick for repair and fabrication.
• Ability to operate and manage confined space entry with LOTO and OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and welding symbols for precise fits.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized cleaning equipment to remove hazardous waste and residues.
• Perform atmospheric testing to ensure safe entry into confined spaces.
• Follow confinement space entry and LOTO protocols per OSHA standards.
• Prepare and purge tanks prior to welding operations.
• Execute precision welding to repair leaks and patch structural holes.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to align components.
• Complete post-weld cleanup and inspection to meet NDT standards.
