ADP, Inc. is hiring a Structural Tank Cleaning Welder to inspect, clean, and repair industrial tanks, vessels, and pipelines. The role requires welding across multiple processes and expertise in cleaning and safe entry procedures.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, conducting atmospheric tests, and following OSHA-confined space and LOTO protocols. Collaboration with maintenance teams is essential for ensuring integrity and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Industrial tank welding and repair experience preferred.
• Familiarity with SMAW, FCAW, MIG welding processes.
• Ability to read welding symbols and blueprints.
• Experience with confined space protocols and NDT basics.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment to remove hazardous waste and residue.
• Perform atmospheric testing with gas detectors for safe entry.
• Enforce confined space entry and LOTO protocols per OSHA standards.
• Prepare and purge tanks prior to hot work or welding operations.
• Execute precision welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core) to repair leaks and patch structures.
• Use thermal cutters and grinders to prepare surfaces and remove defects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols for accurate assembly.
• Conduct post-weld cleanup and basic NDT/X-ray inspections.
