Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components per project drawings.
• Read fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions.
• Prepare and clean joints; check fit-up before welding.
• Use specified welding processes and settings.
• Inspect welds and communicate defects to supervision/QA.
• Coordinate with fitters and crew for safe workflow.
• Follow hot-work, fire-prevention, fall-protection and site safety procedures.
• Inspect welding equipment and maintain an orderly work area.
