Responsibilities

• Selects type and size of pipe or related materials per specifications.
• Plans layouts, assembly, and welding using geometry and metal properties.
• Operates various welding processes as required by procedure.
• Welds components in multiple positions and tack welds as needed.
• Connects cables and sets amperage/voltage per procedure or supervisor.
• Loads electrodes and feeds wire through welding gun.
