Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a skilled welder to join our team in Pensacola, FL. You will perform welding using Gas-M Metal Arc, Flux-Cored Arc, Gas-Tungsten Arc, and other processes to join steel components and pipes per procedures.

Requires 2–4 years journeyman level experience and legal work authorization in the United States. No visa sponsorship is available. The role is full-time and based at our Pensacola site.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years journeyman level welding experience.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Austin cannot sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Weld joining steel components or metal plates per blueprints, work orders, or procedures.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas and operate valves.
• Preheat work pieces as needed and adjust flame temperature.
• Fill holes or correct mistakes; grind and clean welds as required.
• Remove excess weld and spatter; clean work area and pieces.
• Climb ladders or work on scaffolds as required.
