Job summary

Trillium Construction in Clewiston, FL is hiring structural stick welders for a short-term shutdown project. Candidates proficient with E7018 electrodes must pass 3G and 4G weld tests on 3/8" plate.

This on-site role runs 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, about 50 hours weekly, for roughly one week. Per diem of $90/day is offered; required PPE includes fall protection, hard hat, steel-toe boots, and welding stinger. Experience with welding at heights and strict safety compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven structural stick welding experience.
• Strong experience with E7018 rods.
• Must successfully pass 3G & 4G weld tests.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Must follow all safety and PPE requirements.
• Must be available for the full duration of the shutdown.

Trillium Construction is now hiring Structural Stick Welders for a shutdown project in Clewiston, FL

We are seeking experienced Structural Stick Welders proficient with E7018 electrodes for a short-term shutdown project.
Candidates must be able to pass a 3G & 4G weld test on 3/8" plate using E7018.

Job Duties

• Field welding of structural beams
• Welding handrails and structural components
• Working at elevated heights
• Follow all site safety requirements and procedures
• Properly use fall protection when working at elevation

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $25-$30/hour
• Per Diem: $90/day for days worked
• Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Hours: 10 hours/day, approximately 50 hours/week
• Duration: Approximately 1 week - shutdown project

Required PPE & Tools

• Fall protection harness
• Hard hat
• Steel-toe boots
• Welding stinger
• Required personal welding tools/equipment
