Job summary

Trillium Construction is now hiring Structural Welders for a shop in Lakeland, FL, on a 4-week assignment starting Monday, August 10.

Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (50 hours/week). Welders perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural carbon steel brackets and assemblies. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must pass a pre-employment weld test and provide their own hand tools and PPE.

Qualifications

• Shop welding experience with structural carbon steel is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment weld test on 3/8-inch carbon steel plate using MIG and Flux Core processes.
• Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools, wear standard PPE, and welding hood.
• All applicants must successfully complete the required pre-employment screenings before starting.

This is a 4-week assignment working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (50 hours per week). Welders will be performing GMAW (MIG) and FCAW (Flux Core) welding on structural carbon steel components, including brackets and other fabricated assemblies. Pay ranges from $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Candidates with experience cutting, measuring, and fitting are preferred, and previous structural welding experience in a shop environment is required.
• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment weld test on 3/8-inch carbon steel plate using both MIG and Flux Core processes.
• Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools, wear standard PPE, and welding hood.
• All applicants must successfully complete the required pre-employment screenings before starting.
