Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Welder for a Claremore, OK manufacturing role.

You will fabricate, assemble, and repair structural steel components for industrial air cooler equipment, reading blueprints and welding symbols to ensure quality welds. The ideal candidate has hands-on structural welding experience, strong fit-up and measuring tool skills, and is proficient with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on structural welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and specs.
• Familiarity with AWS welding symbols is preferred.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding; ability to fit and assemble structural components.
• Comfort using grinders, cutting tools, measuring tools, jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural carbon steel and other metals using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick processes per production requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine weld and assembly needs.
• Position, fit, tack, and weld components using jigs/fixtures to maintain tolerances.
• Fabricate and repair structural assemblies for industrial air cooler manufacturing.
• Prepare materials for welding via cutting, grinding and cleaning processes.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with specs.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
