Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking 2 experienced Structural Welders for industrial steel fabrication in Claremore, OK. You will weld structural steel components per specs, following FCAW or SMAW processes, and complete bevel tests to ensure quality.

This is a day-shift role with competitive pay based on experience. Applicants must have at least 3 years of structural welding experience and a current or prior 2G certification, plus the ability to pass a 1-inch beveled groove fill-up weld test

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional structural welding experience.
• Current or previous 2G welding certification.
• Proficient in FCAW and/or SMAW welding.
• Able to pass a 1-inch beveled groove fill-up weld test.
• Able to pass required bend and cut tests.
• Experience reading welding blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural welding on steel components according to procedures and specs.
• Operate Flux Core and/or Stick welding equipment safely to complete tasks.
• Prepare materials and weld joints per production requirements.
• Follow welding instructions, blueprints, and specs to meet standards.
• Maintain welding technique, placement, and workmanship quality.
• Inspect welds for defects and verify quality requirements.
