Pay ranges from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour with a $2 night shift differential. Candidates must pass a welding test (3G/4G) prior to placement and be able to work day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of structural welding or heavy fabrication experience.
• Hands-on MIG and/or flux-cored welding experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and welding practices.
• Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment.
• Ability to perform quality visual inspections of welds.
• Commitment to workplace safety and PPE compliance.
• Must pass welding test before placement.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG and flux-cored welding.
• Set up and adjust welding machines according to material and job requirements.
• Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning and fitting.
• Select appropriate wire, filler material, and welding settings.
• Inspect completed welds for appearance and quality.
• Use hand and power tools for grinding and cutting as needed.
• Follow all production and safety procedures and keep area clean.
