Apache Workforce is hiring an experienced Structural Welder for industrial fabrication in Conroe, TX. The role focuses on MIG and Flux‑core welding of structural steel components and reading fabrication drawings in a production setting.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of structural welding experience, can pass a welding test (3G/4G), and can work extended shifts with proper PPE and safety adherence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural welding or heavy fabrication experience.
• Hands-on MIG and/or flux-core welding experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and welding practices.
• Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment.
• Ability to perform quality visual inspections of welds.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Able to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Must pass welding test.

Responsabilités

• Weld structural steel components using MIG and flux-cored welding.
• Set up and adjust welding machines per material and job requirements.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cleaning, grinding, and fitting.
• Select the appropriate wire, filler material, and welding settings.
• Inspect completed welds for appearance and quality.
• Use hand and power tools for grinding, cutting, and material preparation.
• Follow production and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Perform other related fabrication duties as assigned.
