Job summary

TIC_Craft in Port Arthur, TX seeks an intermediate welder to perform high-precision welding on structural and process pipe applications. Role requires setup, troubleshooting, and adherence to welding procedures across multiple processes.

Candidate must be able to move around industrial sites, work overtime as needed, and pass safety and drug testing. This position offers exposure to a variety of welding tasks with industry-grade equipment.

Qualifications

• Understanding and following written and oral instructions.
• Ability to set up, troubleshoot and operate welding equipment safely.
• Ability to perform welding using multiple processes as specified.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot and operate welding machines according to job specifications and procedures.
• Preheat and weld metal components as specified by blueprints, welding symbols, and procedures.
• Weld processes FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW and SAW.
• Operate related tools and equipment such as gouger, grinder, and stress relieving machinery.
• Make welding repairs and fix substandard welds.
