Austin Engineering USA is seeking skilled Structural Welders to fabricate and repair heavy mining equipment using GMAW-P (MIG) and FCAW, on components such as truck bodies, buckets, cable reels, and water tanks.

The role offers a defined career path through Welder B, Welder A, Combo Welder, and Master Welder, with hourly pay steps and a strong emphasis on safety and craftsmanship. You will read welding procedures and work in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW-P (MIG) and FCAW welding.
• Ability to pass a structural welding test.
• Experience using air arc and oxy-fuel cutting equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW-P (MIG) and FCAW welding on heavy structural components.
• Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Operate air arc equipment, oxy-fuel torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
• Inspect completed welds and repair defects as needed.
• Read and follow welding procedures, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
• Safely operate overhead hoists and handle heavy materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
