Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include minimum 3 years in industrial construction/maintenance.
• Valid FCAW and SMAW weld certifications or ability to certify.
• Strong ability to read complex structural blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience with automated or semi-automated welding systems.
• Certification in operating a man-lift or aerial work platform (AWP).
• Experience on large-scale modular construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute groove and fillet welds on structural members in all positions.
• Primarily use FCAW and/or SMAW processes.
• Read and interpret structural steel blueprints and welding symbols.
• Work with Structural Fitters to ensure proper fit-up and alignment prior to welding.
• Ensure all welds comply with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code.
