Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lay out position, align, and fit components for installation.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc or submerged arc welding.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via rigging or crane.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders following blueprints and supervisor instructions.
• Cut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces using torches and welding equipment.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
