Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is hiring for a Welder/Fabricator in Sherwood, Oregon. This hands-on role focuses on fitting and fabricating large machines for the farming and logging sectors, using MIG welding on thick materials.

You will read blueprints, interpret welding symbols, and perform precise fitting and layout tasks. Candidates must meet medical/fit requirements and pass related screenings. Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience on thick materials.
• Must be able to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Fitting & layout experience required.
• Ability to pass medical exam/fit test.

Responsibilities

• Welder/Fabricator role; fit and fabricate on large machines for farming and logging industries.
• Work on thick mild steel components up to 3
• Not a repetitive production line role; expect varying bead and layout challenges.

They are a complete process taking in material and performing everything from CNC machining, welding, and assembly.What You’ll Do:This is a Welder/Fabricator role where you will be challenged to fit and fabricate. This is NOT a production role where you will lay the same bead every day. You will be working on large machines for the logging and farm industry.
