Job summary

Twin City Fan in Pulaski, TN is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to assemble metal structures and weld components in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions. You will read blueprints, follow work instructions, and perform quality checks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires up to 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to operate forklifts or cranes if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and up to 2 years of experience.
• Read and understand shop orders and blueprints, safety rules, standard work instructions.
• Read and comprehend weld symbols.
• Complete documentation and work in a timely manner.
• Use hand tools in a safe and proper manner and read a tape measure.
• May be required to operate forklift, overhead crane, and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Use standard work instructions and blueprints when available.
• Visually inspect weld quality
• Fabricates and assembles metal structures
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead)
• Fabricates and assembles metal structures
• Perform efficient welding of various metal objects with help of gas torch and welder
• Rework and/or repair welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
• Complete run out checks
• Fit Wheels and Fans with limited supervision
• Maintain weld machines using preventative maintenance methods
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space
