Job summary

Wipro Limited in Dallas is seeking a Contract Structure Test Engineer to support production operations for manufacturing. The role will partner with contract manufacturers and fixture vendors to validate, release, and support structural test solutions for both NPI and mass production.

The ideal candidate brings strong structural test expertise (AOI, X-ray, MDA/ICT with Bscan) and hands-on debugging. You will work independently in a fast-paced environment, maintain fixtures, and drive issue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with structural test methods including AOI, X-ray, MDA/ICT (with Bscan) in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in structural test program development, debug, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on knowledge of fixture maintenance, fixture bring-up, and production support.
• Experience working independently with contract manufacturers and fixture vendors.
• Understanding of NPI to production test release processes.
• Knowledge of MDA/ICT fixture design and MDA/ICT test platform maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve production issues with urgency and ownership.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Validate and maintain structural test programs for manufacturing, including MDA/ICT with Bscan in a contract manufacturing environment.
• Support fixture bring-up, qualification, maintenance, and readiness for production use.
• Debug and troubleshoot test programs, fixture issues, and production failures to minimize disruption.
• Release test programs to production in collaboration with contract manufacturers and fixture vendors.
• Drive issue resolution for production test escapes, false failures, and hardware or fixture-related problems.
• Maintain MDA/ICT test platforms and ensure equipment reliability for production needs.
• Document test processes, debug findings, and release status to support ramp and sustaining operations.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract Structure Test Engineerto production operations for manufacturing in Dallas. This role will partner closely with contract manufacturers and fixture vendors to validate, release, and support structural test solutions for both NPI and mass production. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in structural test methods, hands‑on debug capability, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Validate and maintain structural test program s for manufacturing, including MDA/ICT ( with Bscan) in a contract manufacturing production environment.
• Support fixture bring‑up, qualification, maintenance, and ongoing readiness for production use.
• Debug and troubleshoot test programs, fixture issues, and production failures to minimize manufacturing disruption.
• Work directly with contract manufacturers, fixture vendors and team members to release test programs to production.
• Drive issue resolution for production test escapes, false failures, and hardware or fixture‑related problems.
• Maintain MDA/ICT test platforms and ensure equipment is operating reliably for production needs.
• Document test processes, debug findings, and release status to support smooth production ramp and sustaining operations.

What we need to see

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
