• Weld structural steel components including beams, columns, and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment while following safety guidelines.
• Inspect and test completed welds for strength and quality.
• Maintain accurate records including weld logs and reports.
• Work alongside fabricators, fitters, and project leads.

The Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:20 PM (45 hours per week).

What You’ll Do

• Weld structural steel components including beams, columns, and assemblies to project specifications and industry standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to select the proper welding techniques and materials.
• Operate, set up, and maintain welding equipment while following all safety guidelines.
• Inspect and test completed welds to verify strength, quality, and code compliance.
• Maintain accurate records including weld logs, certifications, and reports.
• Work alongside fabricators, fitters, and project leads in a productive shop environment.
