Qualifications

• Must have a BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• EIT Certification is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with drafting techniques for truss designs is required.
• Ability to read and interpret truss layouts and project plans.
• Good communication and documentation skills are essential.
• Ability to travel to office locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop cold-formed steel truss designs that are structurally sound and cost-effective.
• Review and finalize customer-generated truss designs for accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance on design questions and optimization.
• Analyze project plans to recommend efficient structural solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams on quality assurance of truss designs.
• Support the ongoing development of TrusSteel software with engineering input.
