Alpine, an ITW Company, is looking for an Engineer to develop cold-formed steel truss designs. This role is vital for delivering high-quality software solutions and engineering services that enhance productivity for component manufacturers.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and EIT Certification preferred. A strong knowledge of CAD software and good communication skills are essential. The position also offers a compensation range of $70,000 - $95,000, based on relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with core requirements in statics and structural design.
• EIT Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with drafting techniques and presentation of truss designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop cold-formed steel truss designs using proprietary design software.
• Review and finalize customer-generated truss designs for accuracy.
• Provide technical consultation and guidance addressing design questions.
