Socket.dev is seeking a Structural Steel Quality Control Inspector in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in structural steel layout and fabrication, ability to read drawings, and a strong knowledge of quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in structural steel layout and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and construction drawings.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and quality standards.
• Welding certification in D1.1 and/or D1.5 preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated structural steel components throughout production.

Structural Steel Quality Control Inspector

Location: Richmond, VA
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $31/hour (Higher pay available based on experience)
Overtime: Saturdays as needed

Position Overview

We are hiring a Quality Control Inspector with structural steel fabrication experience to support quality checks throughout the production process. Experienced senior-level structural steel fitters or fabricators with strong inspection skills may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated structural steel components throughout production.
