Job summary

Kimmel Associates is seeking a Project Manager – Structural Steel in Cleveland to oversee steel projects from handoff to completion. You'll collaborate with clients, field teams, vendors, fabricators, and subcontractors to deliver safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is organized, financially savvy, and able to manage multiple priorities while resolving issues before they impact delivery. Regional travel is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Structural steel experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with budgets, costs, and scheduling.
• Understanding of drawings, specs, contracts, and project scope.
• Willingness to travel regionally for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from handoff through completion.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and project scope.
• Coordinate with clients, field leaders, vendors, fabricators, and subcontractors.
• Plan material, equipment, fabrication, and erection needs.
• Monitor schedules, productivity, costs, and billings.
• Prepare cost projections and productivity analyses.
• Oversee fabrication and field erection activities.
• Identify risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure alignment with contracts, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee multiple projects regionally.
