Kimmel Associates seeks a Traveling Assistant Project Manager – Structural Steel to support seasoned project managers across the full lifecycle, from handoff through closeout. This field-facing, salaried role requires travel and gives hands-on exposure to drawings, schedules, budgets, materials, equipment, and crews on active steel projects.

Ideal candidates are early-career, with 0–3 years in commercial construction; a four-year degree in CM, Civil, or Structural Eng is preferred.

Qualificações

• Recent graduates or candidates with 0–3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Four-year degree in CM, Civil Eng, or Structural Eng preferred.
• Familiarity reading construction drawings; Bluebeam and Excel helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Review drawings, specs, and contracts to flag issues before they impact field operations.
• Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, and field information.
• Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports.
• Assist with purchase orders, subcontracts, and cost tracking.
• Visit active jobsites and communicate with general contractors, vendors, field personnel, and project teams.
• Monitor project schedules and overall progress.
• Learn PM processes under experienced leaders and support closeout.
