Job summary

Coffman Engineers, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Structural Engineering Technician with two+ years of experience to support engineers by preparing and managing structural models and drawings using Revit.

You will collaborate with multiple disciplines to deliver accurate plans and details, coordinate with architectural models, and ensure compliance with BIM/CADD standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years structural Revit experience or equivalent (e.g., steel detailing).
• Solid working knowledge of building structural systems.
• Proficiency in Revit; experience with AutoCAD or Navisworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support engineers in developing structural Revit models, including grids, levels, columns, beams, floors, sections, and details.
• Produce accurate plans, sections, and details from sketches and drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural Revit models to ensure model integration and BIM consistency.
• Apply and maintain company Revit templates and BIM/CADD standards.
• Understand building structural systems such as steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
