We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer who can manage design and inspection projects independently, collaborate effectively with clients and teams, and work at heights and in confined spaces as needed.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Read and understand construction documents for data collection during inspections.
2. Inspect various structures/silos, identify deficiencies, and document findings accurately.
3. Perform inspections from lifts or rigging, including confined space entry.
4. Coordinate with facility personnel and rigging sub-consultants.
5. Maintain positive client relationships and produce detailed technical reports.
6. Analyze observed deficiencies and work with designers on repair drawings.
7. Contribute to design efforts in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
8. Travel out-of-state 1-2 weeks per month as required.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient in technical report writing and communication.
• Work effectively both independently and in teams.
• Proficient in RISA, AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering; Master's preferred.
• PE license required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in bulk material handling design consulting.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, IBC codes.

Salary range: $89,000 - $134,000, plus benefits, bonuses, and stock options. IMEG is committed to diversity and equal opportunity employment.
