Job summary

Bala Consulting Engineers is seeking a motivated structural engineer to join our team in Boston. The role focuses on structural design, client relations, and collaboration with MEP departments on infrastructure and fit-out projects.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in structural design, a structural emphasis degree or Civil degree, and EIT registration; PE is preferred. This onsite position includes growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Structural engineering degree or civil degree with emphasis on structural work.
• 4 years minimum experience in structural design of buildings.
• Registered EIT focused on structural engineering; PE preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Boston

Responsibilities

• Design and serve as, or work with, the structural E.O.R. for building designs.
• Provide consultations to clients and prospective clients for structural work.
• Support Bala’s MEP departments on infrastructure and fit-out projects.
• Adapt to various business sectors (commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, retail).
• Engage in marketing and business development activities
