Job summary

DCI Engineers in Wayne, PA is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our team. You will design, analyze, and support building projects, collaborating with BIM designers and engineers to create construction documents in REVIT.

Ideal candidates have 0–4 years of experience, knowledge of steel/concrete/wood design, and familiarity with AISC/ACI/IBC/ASCE-7 codes. EIT, ABET degree, and a Master’s are highly valued as you progress in a supportive, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 0–4 years of structural engineering experience related to building design.
• Working knowledge of steel, concrete, and wood design materials.
• Experience designing gravity framing and wind-resisting systems.
• Knowledge of design/build codes such as AISC, ACI 318, IBC, ASCE 7.
• Working knowledge of structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of assigned tasks under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Collaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVIT.
• Assist Project Managers with construction support, including shop drawing review and RFIs.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all construction documents.
• Grow technical knowledge through internal project experience and continuing education.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
