Job summary

Ramboll invites you to join our structural department in Charlotte, NC as a Structural Project Engineer. The role requires passing the FE exam and pursuing Professional Engineering licensure within two years.

You will work with a team of structural engineers and architects on a range of projects, from design through construction, while communicating clearly with clients and project teams. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s in a relevant field and has hands-on experience with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with relevant experience.
FE exam passed and licensure plan within two years.
Proficiency with finite element analysis software is required.
Autodesk Revit experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Completing assignments requiring knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the production of engineering deliverables.
Executing reports, investigatory studies, design calculations and contract documents.
Maintaining routine communications with project team members and clients from proposal through construction.
Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision.
Preparing proposals and supporting business development activities.
Performing detailed checking of completed work under supervision.
Visiting job sites to review progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills.
