Resource Options, Inc. seeks a Structural Project Engineer to work with Project Managers, Architects, and construction teams across commercial, residential and specialized structures from design through closeout.

You will perform structural analysis, prepare construction documents, review drawings, and ensure compliance with codes. This role involves site visits, RFIs, and collaboration across disciplines in a dynamic, growing firm.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Working knowledge of structural provisions of applicable building codes.
• Ability to prepare and review structural calculations and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and senior engineers in all aspects of structural project delivery.
• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects including commercial, residential, equipment support, and specialty structures.
• Read and interpret project documents (architectural, structural, and related disciplines) in detail.
• Assist with pre-design and pre-construction activities, including development of structural systems and coordination with other disciplines.
• Utilize structural engineering software and analysis tools to complete design calculations.
• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and supporting construction documents.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and contract documents.
• Assist with constructability reviews and value engineering efforts.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with design intent and contract requirements.
• Participate in construction administration activities, including RFIs and site visits/inspections.
